A map of what’s on tonight

Life’s busy, and finding a night out shouldn’t take a dozen apps and accounts. SeeMee gathers what’s on from venue calendars, organizer sites and ticket pages into one map, with more sources joining. Find your night, then put the phone down and go.

What it is

Tap a guitar, find a show.

  • One map instead of a dozen tabs

Events from venue calendars, organizer sites and ticket pages, gathered in one place. Each is a piece on the map, and busy corners become lighthouses you tap to open.

  • Checked on the organizer’s page

SeeMee checks each listing’s time and place on the organizer’s page, shows when it was last checked, and links there. Cancelled and moved events say so.

  • Say you’re going. See which friends are.

Tap Going or Interested on any event, and friends who are going show on the card. Your plans are for your friends unless you change that.

Why we made it

Good nights were hiding in too many places.

The good stuff in a city is spread across venue sites, ticket apps, flyers and a dozen feeds, each wanting its own account. Posts from the people and places you care about get buried, and plenty of what you find is out of date.

So we’re gathering it into one map, starting with venue calendars, organizer sites and ticket pages. Each event is checked on the organizer’s page and links back to it, and the map is quick enough to use on your way out the door.

SeeMee was started in Portland by two artists who go out a lot.

What you can count on

Six things SeeMee keeps true.

  • Checked, with a link

Every listing shows when its time and place were last checked on the organizer’s page, and links there. Plans change, so check before you go.

  • A Feed nobody can buy into

Your friends’ plans and badges, and new events from the places you follow. Nobody can pay to be in it.

  • You choose who sees you

Your name, @name, photo and bio are public. Plans and badges are for friends unless you change that, you can stay out of search, and blocking works both ways.

  • Your location stays yours

Your location only leaves your phone when you check in for a badge, and SeeMee doesn’t keep it.

  • By the rules

We read public pages that allow it and use official tools where they exist. We never sign in as anyone else.

  • Made for going out

Tickets, directions and a calendar reminder are one tap away, so making a plan takes a minute.
