Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SeeMee at myseemee.com and the SeeMee app for iPhone (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Community rules below. If you do not agree, do not use SeeMee.
The Service
On the web, SeeMee gives creators a public link-in-bio page for their upcoming events: dates, times, locations, calendar adds, maps, and ticket links. In the app, people find events on a map, save them with reminders, comment on them, add friends, share plans, collect badges for events they attend, and host events of their own. You can browse without an account. Features vary by plan.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service where prohibited by law.
Accounts
You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account. Names and @names are public and must not impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or violate our policies. We may reclaim inactive or abusive @names.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: events, comments, plans, and profile details. You grant SeeMee a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it, to the people your settings allow, solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to post it and that it does not violate law or anyone else’s rights.
Community rules
SeeMee has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post, send, or host harassment, bullying, threats, or hate; sexual content or graphic violence; spam, scams, or fake events; anything illegal, or offers to sell it; someone else’s private details; or anything that pretends to be someone else. You can report a comment, or block the person who wrote it, by pressing and holding it in the app, and block someone from their profile. Blocked people and you stop seeing each other, and they are not told. We review every report within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and remove the accounts of people who post it.
Read the Community rulesAcceptable use
You may not use SeeMee to publish illegal content, malware, spam, deceptive listings, hate speech, or material that infringes intellectual property. You may not fake your location to check in, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Badges
Badges are earned by attending events, either by checking in with your location while the event is on or by having the host scan your code. They have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, or transferred. A host or SeeMee may revoke a badge that was claimed by faking a check-in or by breaking these Terms.
Event listings
Many listings in the app are gathered from venues’ and organizers’ public pages. Details can be wrong or change without notice, so check with the organizer before you go. SeeMee is not responsible for events it lists, or for what happens at them.
Plans and billing
Free includes up to three upcoming events. Pro and Studio plans unlock additional features and higher limits as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until canceled. Prices may change with notice. Promotional or comped access may be offered at our discretion. Refunds are handled according to Stripe and applicable law.
Third-party services
Ticket purchases, maps, calendar apps, and accounts you connect, such as Bluesky, are run by third parties under their own terms. SeeMee is not responsible for third-party sites, the accuracy of external listings, or transactions that happen off our platform.
Apple
If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, these Terms are between you and SeeMee, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for it or for claims relating to it, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You also agree to the App Store’s own usage rules.
Intellectual property
SeeMee’s name, logo, software, and design are our property or our licensors’. You may not use our branding without permission except as allowed by the Service.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEEMEE AND ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeeMee from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account, on the web or in the app’s Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in the app, and the app asks you to agree to new terms before you post again. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.
